Old Tupton ware is a range of porcelain produced using the tube lining technique. The porcelain is fired to a high temperature, and ofter undergoes several firings in order to achieve the variety of colours
As each piece is tubelined (squeezing out fine lines of clay on to the surface creating outline designs) It is then entirely finished and painted by hand, each one is absolutely unique.
